April 30-May 2 2010 FS Concepts conducted a team racing clinic for Team Pedal Right in Cummings, GA.  Over the three day clinic lectures were held, skill sessions conducted and fun was had by all!  On the third day the team took what they learned from the clinic and applied it to the races in Sandy Springs, GA during the Speed Week races.

September 11-13 Sue Haywood and Kristy Lanier will lead a fun, challenging and pampering weekend!

The Staff at Elk River has been offering women’s specific clinics and tours for over fifteen years. We have been fortunate to work with several of the top women racers and instructors in the sport. In a classroom of lush eastern singletrack, we’ll build on basic techniques, confidence and having fun!!

We are excited to announce that Kristy Lanier is joining our coaching staff. 

Kristy is the owner of Dirtbean Ohana LLC. Café, Bike Shop, Training Center and Inn in Marlinton, WV.  She started racing bikes in 1997, quickly reaching the elite level in 1998.  Kristy comes from a running and soccer background which she began at the age of 4.

Coach Shawn Adams paired with Samantha House to claim third place in the mixed tandem category time trial in the 70+ division! 

George Liolios rode to an impressive 11th place (missing 10th by 10/100th of a second) in the 60-64 age group.

On March 21st 2009 we hosted a Team Tactics Clinic for the Bike Authority Cycling Club in Cleveland, Ohio.

We featured a morning lecture about Team Tactics then fielded questions and answers.  In the afternoon we divided up into teams and conducted several mock races to apply what we learned in the morning session.

The event was well attended and much fun!

For the week of November 10th we will not be having the Tuesday and Wednesday rides.  However we will have a "Bring your own trainer ride" on Thursday at 6pm.

The week of November 17th we will start doing inside rides on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
